I directed and produced this documentary tracing the minutes and hours after the Aug. 4, 2020, Beirut explosion. Using unseen CCTV footage, the film reveals the heroism that unfolded in the race to save lives at St. George, the city’s oldest hospital. The Shockwave was honored with a duPont-Columbia Award and two News & Documentary Emmy Awards (“Outstanding Research: News” and “Outstanding Editing: News”) in 2022.

It premiered on VICE TV on June 20, 2021, was broadcast internationally, and is viewable in full on YouTube below.
